Come one come all Porsche enthusiasts to the September PCASDR's Last Tuesday Social which will be held on Tuesday (DUH) on September 30 at The Corner Drafthouse starting at 6:00. The address is 495 Laurel St, San Diego, CA 92101. This is down the street from the main Balboa Park entrance and just across the street from Mr. A’s and Cucina Urbana. FYI: Cucina Urbana is a great Italian restaurant that offers free rides to and from the Old Globe if you are seeing a play there and want to do some pre theater dining.

The Corner Drafthouse is a popular eating and imbibing establishment and is known for its extensive selection of 70 local and international beers, as well as a delicious food menu. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff make it a great spot for a casual meal or drinks with friends. The location is also ideal, situated in Bankers Hill and close to Balboa Park. FREE PARKING: There is free parking in a parking garage located on 4th Avenue around the corner from the restaurant assuming there are any empty spaces. If you are coming down 4th Ave towards downtown, the parking lot is just past Laruel St on 4th (about halfway down the block on your left hand side. It is the only parking garage on that block so you can't miss it. If you are driving on Laurel St. when you get to 4th Avenue turn towrds downtown (as 4th Avenue is a one way street that is the only direction you can make a turn onto 4th no matter in which direction you are driving on Laurel. Find an empty space and park your car. There is nothing for you to do. No parking ticket or bar receipt to get stamped. Just park and go!

If there are no spaces available, there is some free street parking available nearby but you can also go to the Laurel Bay parking garage located at 2449 Fourth Ave. (2400 5th Ave.) and park there. It is about a 2 - 3 minute walk to The Corner Drafthouse from the garage. In the alternative, you can reserve a spot at this garage through Spot Hero which guarantees you free, money back cancellation up to your start time and allows you to easily change or extend your reservation time. I have personally dealt with Spot Hero in the past and have found their reservation system user friendly and their promises/guarantee to be good.
